We are an evangelical, Baptist church in Cornelius, North Carolina. We are united first by our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, but also around a common confession of faith and mission to proclaim the gospel of Jesus to our community. The Sunday morning worship gathering is the starting point, but there are lots of ways that we go about building relationships, growing in our faith, and impacting our community. Through various Bible studies, fellowship events, and outreach opportunities, we seek to glorify God and take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
Every story has a beginning, and it’s impossible to grasp the glory of the Bible’s story without knowing where it all began. That’s why we will spend the next few months studying the first eleven chapters of Genesis. Genesis is exactly the right title for the first book of the Bible, for it is indeed a book of foundations! We will hear God’s Word about His own existence and nature, His beautiful design in creation, where everything went wrong, and the hope that He makes all things right in Christ.
